What kind of supplies will I need?

 An enclosure for your rabbit(s), a brush, a nail clipper for rabbits or cats, toys, a water bottle or crock, a food dish or feeder, litter or wood shavings and a litter box (if you plan on litter training), Timothy hay, bedding, (this can be bedding pellets, wood shavings, hay, or paper bedding), pellets, nest box (if you plan on breeding), and fresh greens.

Grooming

Short-haired rabbits don't have to be groomed very often, because all rabbits clean themselves. Mini Rexes have dense, velvety fur which they clean very well. I use a soft, plastic brush with bendy bristles to help get the shed off. Medium to long haired rabbits (such as Holland Lops) need a bit more work. A wide-toothed comb does the job for getting out tangles and knots in your bun's fur, and making sure it's not matted.
